The Team
Intelligent Media Technologies was formed in April 2008 to develop digital media solutions for the out-of-home space.
Lee Booth – Founder & Chief Executive
Lee is an experienced technology and media entrepreneur with a track record of building publishing, television and live event companies and brands. After stints in technology and marketing at M&S and Bass, Lee was the co-founder of Globeroom in 1999; an online and printed magazine aimed at generation ‘x’ and dot.com entrepreneurs. Following this Lee went on to head an online job board and traditional recruitment company before moving into interactive media. He has raised significant private equity and institutional funds for a number of enterprises in media, energy and the leisure industry. Furthermore he sits on the board of several private companies encompassing music, film and health & fitness.
Rufus Warner – Chairman
Rufus is not only IMT’s largest shareholder but also an experienced City operator with a sharp mind and an active role in our strategic development. With 27 years as an analyst, business developer and business manager, he has worked at firms including Fidelity, Morgan Grenfell Asset Management, Hoare Govett, and Société Générale Asset Management . Rufus was Chief Executive of Close Investments (the funds subsidiary of Close Brothers Group) and is currently Chief Executive of Earth Capital Partners LLP, a multi-billion pound investment firm specialising in sustainable development.
The Hon. Robert Jackson – Non-Executive Director
Robert was IMT’s Chairman until April 2009 and remains an active shareholder and non-executive Board Director. Currently Chief Executive of Special Products, a UK-based pharmaceutical development firm, Robert has a 20 year career in both the commercial and financial sectors in a range of quoted and unquoted companies. Robert is a qualified accountant so always provides a watchful eye on the Company’s finances.
Deborah Graham-Wilson – Business Development & Marketing
Deborah works closely with Lee to develop relationships with our clients as well as providing the collateral to accompany the technical kit. With a background the encompasses both the pub world and more strategic business development, she finds it easy to switch between the boardroom and the bar so also handles much of the ongoing account management. In addition, Deborah is overseeing the Guild development for the Royal British Legion.
Malcolm Stewart – Technical Development
Malcolm is IMT’s technical genius, working alongside Lee to take our ideas, create solutions and develop them into robust kit. Working as a Consultant to IMT, he is also CEO of VisionRadio, an independent company specialising in new media solutions with particular focus on engaging and enabling online services for interaction over traditional PCs, internet connected TVs and DAB digital radio. Prior to establishing VisionRadio in 2001, Malcolm was Head of Multimedia Strategy at Panasonic.
Scott Chapman – Digital Design
Without Scott everything would look like it was created on an Atari in 1984. Scott has an eye for what looks right and what will work. He painstakingly listens to the team’s list of requirements before quietly putting it all together on screen. Scott followed Lee in joining IMT when it was formed in 2008, having previously worked at the sharp end of the business installing software and kit in pubs.
John Wade – Company Secretary
John is our ever reliable Company Secretary, keeping us all in check. John is currently Company Secretary and Head of Operations for Westhouse Securities but spent his early career in the Listings Department of the London Stock Exchange rising to take charge of listing policy. He then worked as a director in the corporate broking departments of Warburg Securities and Charterhouse Tilney.
